Here at Lawrence, we aim to practice what we preach. This wealth of experience helps us to understand and engage with all customers and provide the best advice possible.

Current Practices Include:

Sustainable Resources: All printed collateral are printed in low quantities to avoid obsolescence of stocks and are only ordered on an "as  needed" basis. Our suppliers have been carefully selected locally to minimise the carbon footprint with no fuel used for transport of these goods.

Print Stocks: Paper and card has also been carefully selected to high standards, only from sustainable sources and / or certified by the Forestry Stewardship Council (fsc certified).

Fuel Costs: Transport routes are carefully planned to the highest efficiency possible to avoid wasted trips and repeated journeys when delivering / exchanging / collecting waste. Car-sharing is encouraged and practiced by other staff, particularly the sales force.

Container Re-use: As part of the "reduce, reuse, recycle" initiative, Lawrence invests only in robust, reusable containers to maximise on reuse. We work closely with suppliers who reuse, refurbish and recycle any redundant / unfixable containers when use has been exhausted.

Local Community - continually engaging with the local community for talks and tours around the facility and advice on current recycling and waste issues.

Local Schools - continually engaging with teachers, schools and study centres for talks and tours built around the syllabus and advice on current recycling and waste issues as well as an opportunity for students to ask the experts.
